What our foot care team can — and can't — do.

Our foot care team works under nursing oversight — a nurse regulated by the College of Nurses of Ontario provides clinical supervision. The team assesses and cares for nails, calluses, corns, and routine diabetic foot care, and refers on to a physician when something is outside scope.

We focus on foot care under nurse supervision. We monitor and care for feet — we don't provide general medical diagnosis, podiatry, or chiropody. If you need surgical care, orthotics, or anything beyond the care our nurses and Clinical Foot Care Technicians provide, we'll recommend follow-up with a nurse, doctor, or healthcare provider. Many of our clients see both our team and a podiatrist — the roles complement each other.
