Learn more →Clinical Foot Care · Under nurse oversight
A nurse assesses the client, establishes or approves the care plan and provides clinical oversight. A trained Clinical Foot Care Assistant provides eligible routine care according to that plan. We care for thick nails, calluses, ingrown nails, and provide routine support for eligible clients living with diabetes, in the same warm, welcoming clinic you already know. Our clinical foot-care service uses a dry method. Feet are not soaked.

✦ Credentials & scope
Our foot care team works under nursing oversight — a nurse regulated by the College of Nurses of Ontario provides clinical supervision. The team assesses and cares for nails, calluses, corns, and provides routine support for eligible clients living with diabetes, and refers on to a physician when something is outside scope.
We focus on foot care under nurse supervision. We monitor and care for feet — we don't provide general medical diagnosis, podiatry, or chiropody. If you need surgical care, orthotics, or anything beyond the care our nurses and Clinical Foot Care Assistants provide, we'll recommend follow-up with a nurse, doctor, or healthcare provider. Many of our clients see both our team and a podiatrist — the roles complement each other.
